Jurisdiction: Belize
Belize Corporations are allowed to perform any legal business transactions. A Belize Corporation that does not carry out business activities within the territory of Belize is not required to be licensed and it is not subject to any income tax. This type of entity does not have to file annual reports or tax returns. Directors and shareholders may be natural persons or corporations and do not need to be residents of Belize. Shares may be issued to the bearer or in registered form. However bearer shares must remain under the custody of the Registered Agent.
